Only 3 months left and...

So as of tomorrow we only have three months left! I guess time somehow got away from me. I'm supposed to mail out my invites the second week in January and I haven't even looked for them yet!! When I started calling around, I didn't realize that it took so long for them to come in. Whoops.

I also need to book a florist and look at tuxes.

Any recommendations or experience for these 3 (I'm pretty sure I'm going to go to Burton's for flowers) would be much appreciated!!!

For florist, we used Flowers by Brian and we're so happy with our choice. They've been so helpful and our sample centerpieces were amazing.

For tuxes, we used Foresto Tuxedos in Mineola. FFIL and my father both used them for their weddings, so we definitely trust them!

we are using foresto for tuxes as well.. we did distinctive floral design for flowers, and invitions were from etsy

Try Minuteman Press in Franklin Square for invitations if you need them quickly. I'm not using them because I want to go custom, but I did stop in there once to look at their books and they have a good selection. The girl behind the counter told me they only take about two weeks to come in.

I'm using Pedestals for flowers and I love them. Since they're a bigger business my guess is that they'd easily be able to accommodate you on short notice.

I'm not much help on tuxes since we haven't done ours yet!

Only 3 months...so exciting! We ordered our invitations online from Davids Bridal, we were really happy with how they came out, they didnt cost too much and they came pretty quickly. For florist we went with Hidden Essence, she actually came out cheaper than Burtons for us because we werent looking for expensive types of flowers. I love her and she's done a great job so far, such a pleasure to work with. We just did mens wearhouse for tuxes. Good luck with the rest of the planning!!

We are doing our invites from wedding paper divas. I don't know how long they take to come in though.

I would suggest looking into Hidden Essence. Michelle is a doll and will work within your budget.

You should really check out Black Dahlia for flowers!! They are so great really work to figure out your vision. And flexible with pricing too!

most likely we are using wedding paper divas for our invitations. we used them for our STDs and the turn around time was SO quick - got them within a few days of approving the proof, and we LOVED them and have gotten so many compliments.

I used wedding paper divas and received the invitations within 5 days of approving the proof. I was happy with them and have gotten many compliments from friends and family. Good luck!

We used Jessica Leigh Paperie for invitations. I just picked them up from her this past weekend and I loved them. We wanted something simple and not too expensive and she did an amazing job! The calligraphy on the envelopes is BEAUTIFUL! For flowers we're using Pedestals. We're going to see our first samples right after the New Year. Good luck with both!
