4 more days before my FH leaves me to go start his new job upstate..I am soo sad, I wont be seeing him much anymore, he will be an hour and a half away from me , but at the same time I am happy because we are going one step at a time to moving upstate and starting our lives together upsate with new jobs and and new lives

You'll miss each other like crazy when apart but when you do see each other - you'll get that tingly feeling and everything will be perfect!

He will be working in Ulster county...about 1 1/2hrs from the Bronx. Yes I guess I can go visit him, but I dont really like traveling that far on my own..plus Ill get lost because I dont know the area all that well yet. But I guess when I do finally see him it will be like seeing him for the first time

it will be so worth the sacrifice for a little while and you have us if you need anyone

You are going to enjoy living there i used to live in Ellenville and it was so pretty!!!

Don't be sad! Think of it this way. Can you imagine all the pent up passion you two are gonna have when you see each other? In a nice way- all the sex is going to be great! WOOHOO!!!! An hour and a half's not bad. YOu guys can travel on weekends. Now you will have your evenings free to be on LIW!

I know completely where you are coming from. My FH is a year younger than me and he is from upstate...way upstate in Watertown (By 'cuse) We met at school in Plattsburgh (by Montreal). I graduated a year before him and we had to do the distance thing. It was hard since i was always a 6 hour car ride away but we made it work!

LDR are hard work but sooo worth it when the other person is your forever!

BTW, we're planning on moving upstate too eventually. What kinda of work does your FH do?

FH is a vet. technician I am soo happy for him

aww it will be tough for a little while-this summer FH came back to NY and I stayed in SC, it was a long 2 1/2 months and we only saw e/o for 4 days in between but it got easier after time-and when I got to NY I was soooooo happy to be back with him.

You will get thru it and its a step up for you both. Good Luck to you and FH

you will enjoy it there its so beautiful, we go up in that area actually a little farther for hunting and skiing and camping.. its so nice!!!!
