? only Final Head Count

We need to give the hall a final Head count tomorrow so they can calc the amount we owe the day of. Actual # 139 Min 125 would you give the actual # or low ball it in-case of no-shows? A few responces were only verbal.

Same situation....I was told to give a few lower just in case someone cancels last minute. You cna always pay them more $, however they will not refund if you overpay.

My sister in law overpaid for about 8 people!!!

You tell them what the 'actual' count is. If there are no shows (we had 4) they will pack those dinners for you, if you request.

We tried to low ball it, but they figured us out based on the seating chart.

I wouldn't low ball it...they will probablly figure it out by the seating chart.

Alright, well I figured it out. Well I don't have a DOC, but I will assign that Job to someone else becasue I can not afford to pay for empty seats. And it seems like most people have at least a few no-shows, so I am going to low ball it.

I undercut by 6 people and that was perfect. We ended up being right on the dot.
