So i know its silly but i havent wanted to tell any of our friends or bridal party what we are doing for favors. I want it to be a surprise!
We are doing cookbooks!!!!! We are getting together our favorite recipes that we cook, our parents or grandparents used to cook for us and also getting recipes from some of the bridal party but not telling them what its for. Im so excited and I had to tell someone, lol. i know im a looser.
I thought they would be super expensive but I found another company besides the most popular one (morris) and its pretty inexpensive, especially considering what we are getting for the money!
woooo hooooI cant wait to finish it and show you guys!!

When you know you want to do it, choose the free trial. You get 30 free days to complete your book (you still gotta pay for the books, lol). After the 30 days, you would have to pay a subscription fee to the site. See with other sites like Morris cook cooks, their is no monthly fee but their books are much more expensive so for me, this was better. Just make sure that when you start the free trial, you have most of what you want together ...i made that mistake and had to scramble a little. Its family owned and the woman is always answering my emails and quesions and if you need a few more days, shell give them to you instead of adding on a monthly fee.
Im doing it basically black and white with only 2 color pages, the color pages are more expensive than the rest and thats what adds up if you have a lot but right now, i have 39 pages including 3 pages of black and white photos and 2 color and with shipping and everything its coming to $420 (without the color pages it woulda been $397 for 75 books. Im giving 1 per household..thats why i only need 75. So that comes to $2.8 per person if you want to think about it like that. Up until now I didnt know how i was gonna honor my grandparents memory and now im including pics of me and them next to a recipe that i learned from them or we used to eat together and put a blurb next to it too.

I was planning on doing a cookbook favor too and including recipes from both of our families. The site you found looks great! I'm sure your guests will love them. I'm going to try and make mine myself, we have a binding machine here at work I was just gonna borrow! We'll see how that goes.
