OOOOO I AM MAD! Compaq Notebook!
So on August 4 2003 I bought myself a nice compaq notebook I love it. I bought it at best buy. I used my Best Buy credit card because i got no intrest for 1 year. I get my statement every month and it tells me how long I have to pay it off. This is how I know when I purchased it. Recently the plug has not been staying plugged in. Today I burned my hand on the plug I looked at it and there is a yellow plastic ring on it that is burnt. It doesnt stay plugged in so I will be in the middle of something and it just shuts off. I just went online and they told me that My warranty is up on July 26th. Im like what I have a year? I purchased in August The serial number shows it was purchased on June 27???? I am even more mad about that then I am about it being broken! ![]()
ETA: Mike just called compaq tells the lady the whold story about the plug and she goes 'so whats the problem' He's like um the problem is that the plug went on fire and the battery doesn't charge and it shuts off in the middle of stuff!!!!! so then she is going to send me a new power supply so whatever. Problem solved he goes I have one more problem. He goes on about the warranty problem and she goes 'well don't worry this is under warranty till July so you will get it fixed' He's like and if something happens July 30th? He's said I want to know if and why it has been registered to someonelse! He told me if he finds out it was registered to someone else like they had it before he will goto best buy and throw a fit. You will see me on Channel 4 ask Asa Demanding a new Computer. It's not even a matter of the few days between July and August its just f'd up that it was registered to someone else!
