So FH and I walk to work each day together, and on our way we pass our bank. So we usually go in together even if just one of us has banking to do. One of the girls that works at the bank calls us 'The couple that banks together'. Anyways, we both had checks to deposit today, and we were both at windows side by side. Here's the conversation that took place between the girl and my FH:
Girl: How are the wedding plans coming? FH: Good, we have almost everything booked. Girl: So when's the big day? FH: Um, (looks up to the ceiling as he thinks!) Me: Oooh, I'm going to kill you! June 17th!! FH: I knew that! I just had to think for a minute...
I know he knows the date, but when someone asks me, I can recite it in 3 seconds flat!! I told the girl at the window that I'm going to have to drill him at home more!!
ETA: I also told him that this one is getting posted on LIW! He's like, 'I know.'

My FH did the same thing when we were on a flight to Europe and he was filling customs papers and he forgot my BIRTHDAY. Talk about strangulation. I wanted to kill him. Like you said it took him one too many seconds before FH was already in trouble and to this day I still remind him of the incident

I'm the one who keeps forgetting the date! FH gets so angry, especially since he knows I am on this website all the time and the date is right there in front of my eyes all the time!

That's a good story. Whenever someone asks us the date, I ALWAYS look to him, b/c I know I know the date, and I am tesing him. I always knows it, even AFTER changing it 2 times!
My step-dad's cousin was married on 1-2-03 so her DH could remember their anniversary, 1-2-3!!!

What is it with guys?? My FI forgets too, he keeps saying June 6, which is a Tuesday btw!! I guess I confused him since we're 6/10/06!!
I like the sticky note idea!! But at least he can't forget my bday, it's the day's before his mom's!!

Reminds me of the time when FH called me 'MOM' by accident. Check out my poll:
since we have started dating, i have always given him pop quizzes about important dates that have happened between us. after 7 yrs of drilling i think he finally has most of them. keep asking him important dates out of the blue and then he will know he always has to be on his toes.
