So we made our list for our engagement party and we are 20 people over and we cant really guarantee 20 people wont come. Should we look for another venue? I am so stressed out. The FH originally just said his immediate family was coming b/c he doesnt really see his cousinsand aunts. None the less when his mom sent the list BAM! 24 people. What should i do??? ahh

I feel your pain - we just sent the invites out for our e-party yesterday and at the end we had to cut people.
Actually FH's family did a lot of cutting and I offered to do so but then they had people they cut.
In the end we printed an invite and envelope for everyone and as people say no - we will invite the people that were cut.
Talk to your FMIL and mention the situation you are in - I don't think you should switch venues, that would seems to add a lot of craziness that just isn't needed.

I agree with Eloise that you should talk to ur FMIL and see if you guys can cut some ppl from the guest list. Can your venue not fit the extra people? I think looking for another one might just be too crazy esp if the invites are already made up...
