oops!
My FH's friend from Ireland called him tonight to ask him to book a restaurant he has heard good things about.
And he also said something in a joking manner about the bed ensemble we have on our registry. His friends in Ireland weren't told about the registry from us. Either a mutual friend from here told this guy or his wife found it accidently on the internet. We didn't tell any of his friends that live there on purpose because registries are not done there (as far as he tells me) and that he felt it was an imposition to tell them about it. I said that was fine and so we never mentioned it to any of them on the phone.
It's by Calvin Klein. His friend said 'look at you all fancy with the labels! You didn't even know who Calvin Klein was when you left here!'
Of course he's kidding around but when FH told me I felt bad because first off, we had the same bed ensemble (well same design, different brand) on Bed BAth and Beyond's registry but I saw the same thing in Macy's and it was softer and only $50 more (and that's the one that is from CK) so I took it off of BB&B and put it on Macy's. It never ever occured to me that anyone would find it funny or tease him. I dont' think he minds too much but I just hope they don't kid him the whole time they're here!
