So my wedding shower invites went out this weekend, but without informaiton about where i am registered. i feel like remembering reading that proper etiquitte states that you shouldn't include the little cards and that when people RSVP they should ask on their own if you are registered...am i remembering correctly or is this a really big oops????

no worries....they'll ask...but usually the little cards do go into the invites....no big whoop though....so they have to ask when the rsvp...no biggie...

If your really worried, you can send out an oopsie mailing to your guests, like a postcard stating it was forgotten and listing where your registered. In the past I have received two separate cards from people that forgot to add that info into the invite. It happens, maybe have someone leave a message on the machine where RSVP's will be called into stating you forgot it in the invites and just wanted to let everyne know where your registered.

Usually the shower invite is the one place where it is ok but, people will definitely ask (or internet savy people will find it out on their own!)

I used work at a place where we dealt with printing invitations and the majority of customers not only put the cards in the envelope but had it printed on the invitiation so I think it's okay.

Well I can't stress that it wasn't included because I am the one who forgot to give them to my FMIL and I dont want to ask her to send out a second notice. People will ask her when they RSVP and that will be that. I am having a second shower thrown by my grandma and for that i will make sure the information is included.

I don't think it is a big deal.. normally the little cards should be in the invite, but who ever is receiving the rsvp should make it a point to say: ' By the way the registered at such and such'
