Oops - Couldn't Help Myself

So my best friend since I was 15 called me tonight. It's not often we get to talk, we both work 50-60 hour work weeks and she lives in San Diego (damned navy).

She called me to chat before her husband got home from work. B got her Christmas card with gift certificates from me and thanked me, before starting to ask about the wedding. She was married in 2010, but her mother took over hers - she's excited for FH and I. She started to talk about how excited she is, if there's anything she can do to help, or be there for me..

Well - I asked the question. I couldn't help myself... she was so excited, which makes me thrilled because - She agreed to be my maid of honor.

She started crying she was so excited! She said she was so honored. I was a bridemaid in her wedding, because her mother insisted on one maid of honor/matron of honor so she recognized her older sister. She was like - I was hoping you didn't hate me for it - I hated doing it.

I could never... but.. here's the kicker..

She told me I owe her a list of the other bridesmaids, their phone numbers, addresses and at least one local NY contact asap.

This is why I love the girl :)
