oops! wedding snafu

so i sent an email to my friend from college asking if he got my STD. totally forgot that A) he was someone I had been 'really friendly' with at times and B) a male who is single, and therefore not involved in wedding speak. he wrote back:

'yes, it's on my fridge.. but i'm not sure you really want to be calling it an 'STD' though, probably one of those things where it's better to write out instead'.

yup, i asked a former hook up if he got my STD. I literally laughed out loud when i realized that. Lesson learned!
