OOT accomodation
Has anyone booked accomodations for OOT guests? I am getting married in Roslyn, but the hotel does not need to be in the same town, but relatively close would be great (less than 20 min). Has anyone booked a block at a hotel yet? Suggestions? How far in advance should I do this? How many rooms can each hotel reserve at once? MY FH and I and our parents and siblings will stay there that night too. Will places provide a room for you and your hubby? We will also host a brunch the next morning.
TIA!!
Rach

Re: OOT accomodation
I called one hotel close to my RH shortly after I booked it. They told me it was way to early they don't even know the rates for August of next year yet, and that they usually come out a year to 9 months in advance. I havn't tried calling others yet bc I assume they are all similar with that in mind. So I think you are fine still for Oct of next year.

Re: OOT accomodation
I called about 4-5 hotels from a list my RH gave me, the Marriott can hold a breakfeast the next day if you need it, ( exit 49 off LIE) we are using the wingate by wyndam they have a shuttle that will pick my bridal party at the RH after, and if 10 rooms get booked the shuttle is free and we get to stay the night as well for no cost

Re: OOT accomodation
We are using the Garden City Hotel, they gave us a rate comparable to the Marriott or other area hotels near our RH so we figured we would splurge. We don't really need to stay at a hotel the night of our wedding, but I thought it would be nice.

Re: OOT accomodation
Most hotels have their rates about 9-12 months in advance, so for you I would start calling in the Fall.Welcome New Vendors
