Welcome!
We made a little box completely full of treats, whether your mouth gets dry and thirsty, or you’re in the mood for some sweets.
It’s just a small token full of our love, hugs and kisses, to thank you for the trip you’ve made to see the new Mr. & Mrs.

i never even heard of something like an oot bag... is this different than what the hotel normally leaves in the room (shampoo, a snack, etc)- is it something of your own that you just add into that, or is it a completely separate bag?

i heard of it as being a seperate bag..with a note from the soon to be bride and groom to the guests :)

I am not going to do a pome, i am going to make a bag that has a ny theme to whats inside. I am going to have a tag on it that says Welcome to Long Island. and out names and stuff on it.

i made these postcards on vistaprint...they arrived saturday and are great!!! they are offering 100 free postcards (all you need to do is pay for shipping)...well worth it IMO

I'm doing OOT hotel bags, instead of boxes (i'm using reusable black shopping bags.) Attached to the handle of each, I wrote out individual thank you cards to each guest welcoming them to ny and thanking them for coming and then hole punched and tied them on. Yep... i wrote out by hand about 100 of those... :)

I did a welcome letter:
Welcome and thanks for coming! We’re so happy that you could make it to our wedding.
We’ve put together this bag of treats for you to enjoy while spending time in your hotel room or driving about town.
A few important things to remember:
The ceremony begins at 3:00 pm on Saturday. The church is about ½ hour drive from the hotel. After the ceremony, feel free to return to your hotel room to freshen up or even rest. Then come down to Super’s Café in the lobby to join the parents of the bride and groom for snacks and refreshments.
The cocktail hour at the North Ritz Club will begin at 7:30 pm on Saturday. A shuttle service will be provided from the hotel to the venue beginning at 6:15 pm. Please arrive with enough time since several trips will be needed to take everyone staying here to the reception. We urge you to use the shuttle to be safe, and don’t drink and drive!!! In addition, the shuttle will offer return trips at the end of the evening beginning at 12:00 am.
Don’t want the party to end right away? No worries! We’ve arranged for the hotel to keep the bar open after hours so we can come back and wind down. The bar in Super’s Café will be open until 4:00 am. Come on down to spend some personal time with the bride and groom and their families. Cocktails and refreshments will be available at the bar if you choose.
Finally, we’d love to say goodbye to you on Sunday morning at brunch. Located downstairs in the Sag Harbor room, a complimentary brunch will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. So pack your belongings up, check out, and come join us for one last meal before you head home!
Whatever you choose to do while you’re here, we hope you have a great time, and we can’t wait to see you on Saturday!
