I was going to put in snacks, I also got some pamphlets from the outlet malls, some maps and I bougt bags of 'Yankees' pnuts...I also want to find little bottles of premixed LI iced t , and definatley some b&w cookies (things you can only get here)

Some thoughts FH and I have had are snacks, water, a bottle of LI wine, some fliers of things to do in the area, a cd of songs that have significance to us, colored m&m's, tissues, and a 'weekend wedding guide' telling them about the schedule for the weekend.

What do you mean by 'separate the lady's room and men's room'? OOT are usually left with the check-in desk at the hotel, no?

if you are getting together at someones house while they stay directions and info.
put a list of your phone numbers.
also i saw on martha steart.. a little card you can print for quick yoga to do..

I'm going for a fall theme (October wedding) for the baskets which will be waiting for guests at their hotels: 4 Bottles Water, 1 Sack Apples, 2 Mugs, Instant Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Hot Cider Mix Tea Bags, Events Schedule, Map to Church, Map to Reception, Map to Rehearsal Dinner, Map to Cider Mill, Map to Pumpkin Patch, LIRR Schedule, Map to Outlets, Map to Walt Whitman Mall, List of Local Restaurants, Map to Movie Theatre & Show Listings, Map to Bethpage State Park, Hershey Kisses, Graham Crackers, Pretzel Rods
(the rehearsal is on Thursday and the wedding is on Sunday so I want to make sure the less involved guests will be entertained)

The aspirin I always use!! My friend also did little teeny bottles of liquor which was cute and a fresh apple. Hers was a fall theme, and tic tacs, gum, directions, #s for cab companies, any info - like afterparties, close by restaurants, #s of places that deliver. Oh she also put bags of pretzels in it.
And check with the hotel before you buy bottled water because most hotels already leave them in your room now.

I have been ordering long island guide and will be putting those in the bags. As well as asprin, bottled water, B/W cookies, and throw in bagels.

I am thinking of just doing bottles of water, italian cookies, pretzels & some candy...Nothing specific & my hotel told me not to put guests names on the bag as it will be too difficult for them to give them out

oops. i was writing bathroom basket goodies and oot bag goodies down at the same time. i must have had the bathroom on my mind when i did my edit. my bad
