HELP!!!!! And does anyone know where I can get the travel size stuff CHEAP!! Like toothpaste, etc?? TIA

What you can do too, is get those 'Long Island' guide magazines with things to do in the area-

ask your dentist for sample toothpastes and floss- we did, told them what it was for and they were glad to give it to us...

some people do a bottle of wine- we didnt, but its a nice idea



also- cookies- go to Bjs or somewhere like that

a thank you letter
if you are having a brunch the next day- that info
tylenol- for the 'hangovers'

Try Target... they have an entire 'travel' section.

Also, you may want to add:

directions to chruch/reception hall
invitiation to Brunch if you're having one
advil packs
pretzels
apples
breakfast bar

You can get a lot of this stuff at BJ's or Cosco.

Also add toiletries and a map of the area, with locations of a drugstore, supermarket, starbucks...

I got really high end bath gel, shampoo and conditioner from bath and body works when they had their semiannual sale. It looks like we spent a ton on the tiny imported bottles, but they were only 0.80-$2.00 each! (Non sale prices are upto $6.00 a piece)

We also got REALLY nice bags from cheaptotes.com They cost as much as paper, but look like LL bean quality...

we are going to order the Long Island made potato chips from North Fork Chips , and I also google the Long Island Tourism website and we are going to try to order the LI Travel Guides and LI Maps.....along with a few of the items people mentioned in prior posts
