Oot Bags

Hey Ladies,
What are some cute/fun Long Island theme items for out of town bags? Also, do you do one per room or guest? I want to do a mini bottle of wine from a LI winery, can I just get that from a liquor store? Which ones on LI carry them? Thanks!

We are doing bags of Pirates Booty, because they are based in Sea Cliff

I did one per room, just put enough stuff in the OOT bag for a few people to be satisfied. My sister put North Fork chips in her OOT bag - thought that was a cute idea.

I think you shouldn't have trouble finding a LI wine in any liquor store - some stores even have a LI wine section!

Half bottles of LI Wine are virtually impossible to find - you can find california and others, but LI vineyards just don't like bottling the half

Go to bottle buys in glen cove, they carry Pindar wine (full bottles) for less than the vineyard between $5-$7 per bottle.

maybe you could find min bottles of Long Island Iced Tea too? A 'big' apple? A 'montauk: the end' bumper sticker? Something from the Islanders (mug, puck, etc?). A glass of sand from Jones Beach? okay the last one is really cheesy, but I'm just brainstorming!
