OOT Bags- things to do and see

Hi Ladies,
I'm putting together my OOT bags and want to include a list of places to visit and things to do here on Long Island (Nassau). Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, do you know if you can Golf at Eisenhower Park if you're not a Nassau Resident?

I am getting married the same day: I am getting married at the Fox Hollow and my OOT things say this on the front:

Welcome and Thank You
for traveling so far,
Be it by airplane, train or just by car.
We hope that you have a good time
while you’re here,
Sharing in our wedding happiness
And cheer!

We made a little bag,
Completely full of treats,
Whether your mouth gets dry and thirsty,
Or you’re in the mood for some sweets.
It’s just a small token
Full of our Love, Hugs & Kisses,
To Thank You for the trip you’ve made
To see the new Mr. & Mrs.!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend
Dina & Mike

Approximately a 45 minute train ride from the Syosset train station. The Long Island Railroad will leave you at Penn Station (33rd St. between 7th & 8th Ave.). Please remember to buy tickets in advance from the machine on the station platform to avoid a large surcharge on board.

Getting around NYC is easy on the subway. A one day metro-card can be purchased at the ticket machine as well or at Penn Station for $8.25, or you can pay $2.25 per trip. For more information go to: www.mta.info
