I am still debating on whether I should do this. I have people staying at a few different hotels. I am way over budget already and at this moment I cant handle another project. Do you think it is necessary??

Re: OOT bags, to do or not to do???????
It is a cute touch, but I wouldn't kill myself (or my budget) over it. It's LI....I'm sure if they get desperate and for some reason the hotel doesn't have it, they can find a 24 hr store.
Plus if they are at multi hotels, I doubt you really want to run all over the place dropping these off....something tells me there is enough to do at the end w/o having to hit a bunch of hotels.
I wouldn't stress over it.

It is a nice touch but, not necessary. We're doing it because our reception is at a hotel and we have a lot of people staying there (but, we're not doing for anyone if they choose to stay at another hotel for some unknown reason).

Definately a nice touch! I had all intentions of doing it myself but I ran out of time & money! So I didn't do it

I wanted to do it, but didn't have enough time to put it all together. So I don't think they're ncecessary and none of my OOT guests at the hotel noticed.

I don't think it's absolutely necessary, but think it's a nice touch. If you can't do it...no worries!

Half of my guests are traveling from out of state...it's the least I can do!

It's a nice touch, but not something I would stress out about, especially if they are at different hotels, and if I was over budget already.
FMIL is doing this for us, but not really, because I have to assemble all the gable boxes, decorate them and put them together, and quite possibly bring them to the hotel.

I am in the same boat.
I think we're not going to do them, as much as I would love to, the time and money are just not there.

It isn't a must do, especially if you are already stressed out. It is definiitely a nice thing to find as a guest, though.

I'm not bothering...my OOT guests are staying in a hotel that is near everything...so If they really NEED something they can get it themselves. I know its a nice touch, but I just don't have to funds to go out and buy all that stuff!

If anything, at least give them directions and let them know what times everything is. Our guests were in different hotels as well.
You have to think, some people will forget the invitation, and need to know times. And if you're in a town where you don't know anything, wouldn't you want to know where a restaurant or a grocery store is?
Maybe make up a nice sheet, make copies, and attach them to a few bottles of water.
