we are planning on going down to LI as soon as my daughter is out of school (prob 6/24)and everything here is taken care of. that gives us about 2 weeks till the wedding......
I was going to do our address here but what if some come after we leave? The RSVP date will be around 6/10 so we should hopefully have them back before we leave, but i know there will be some stagelers.
Should I put my parents address on LI instead???

I am doing my Mom's address. She is paying for the wedding and apparently that is proper etiquette. Whoever the host is, is the one who is supposed to get the RSVPs. If you are hosting it yourselves then in your case, I think it should still get sent to your parents' house. That way they will all be there and you don't risk loosing or missing any! HTH!

I'm putting my NY address, I'll probably go to MD a week before the wedding. Honestly, I'll be calling people about 2 weeks before that bc I want an exact headcount, and I'm not paying for no shows. I know you are supposed to use your parents' address, but I'm not sure I trust my mom's organizational skills , better if I do it. She is amazingly talented and way more creative than I am, I'm just more anal and organized.

iN YOUR CASE YOU SHOULD GIVE TEH POST OFFICE A FORWARDING ADDRESS SO THAT THEY WILL COME TO YOUR NEW HOME.

We are paying for it all ourselves so none of the parents names are on the invites... would it be odd to have the rsvp's going other than our house?
