Hey fellow Out-of-Town brides, I need help finding a florist who is comfortable working with me online and via phone and who can work within a budget. Who are you using? Is planning going smoothly? Help! I'm starting to panic about this -- I'm in Seattle and don't think I'll be back on L.I. until 6 weeks before the wedding. I know I'll be a very unhappy bride if my flower plans aren't finalized by then. Thanks!
i am an OOT bride who has never met my florist...yet i feel very comfortable recommending her because she has been so helpful over email, the phone and through mailed proposals. we spoke about what i wanted and then she sent me a FULL three page proposal before I had committed to her. it was over my budget and i wanted a few things changed so i emailed her my comments and a few days later got a new, updated proposal with all the changes. i could see be the detail in it she understood what i was looking for. i would recommend at least contacting her, Jennifer at Verbena Designs. i think the website is verbenadesigns.com
Laurie from La blossoms is very nice and I pretty sure that she would work with you over the phone/email. she is a vendor on here.
I would recommend Laurie from LA Blossom. She even emailed me pics of bouquets, which I then gave to my local florist to copy. She really goes above and beyond.
Thanks girls! I'll check out Verbena Designs. I'd love to be able to work with Laurie from LA Blossoms -- she's the first person I called, actually -- but sadly she'll be out of town the weekend of my wedding.
I am using a budget florist- Jen from Jennblossoms.com. I did meet her once this summer but now we communicate by email. She is really sweet but kind of untraditional.
im not OOT but i recommend burtons- they will give you whatever flowers you want for your budget- i have seen their work and its beautiful. good luck!
