Okay.. so my brother is in the airforce and will only be able to come in for the wedding... we hope, cross my finger... and not for the tux fitting. How does this work? Does he get a tux by the same desinger at a store in texas and bring it with him or does he go to a store in tx get measured and call the store here. I know I am thinking way ahead here and don't need to get tux's for a long time but this thought has been nagging me.

Re: OOT groomsmen
My OOT groomsmen got measured at any tux place near them, and sent the measurements to the place where FH is getting his tux. From what I understand this is a common practice.

My best man is from California so he's doing the same thing.

Re: OOT groomsmen
I've got the same problem, 3 of my FH's groomsmen are sailors, and will probably be out to sea for anywhere from 1-4 months before the wedding. I don't know how its going to work out, because I know their not going to think of going to get measured 4 months before the wedding.

Re: OOT groomsmen
We had FOUR groomsmen from different states. They got measured by their own home and called in their measurements to our local store to order the tux. That's how it's done and it's usually not a problem as long as they get to town a day or two before the wedding to try it on and get any alterations.

Re: OOT groomsmen
All 6 of our groomsmen were OOT, so we rented from Men's Warehouse. Each guy went to a store in their city and the measurements were sent to the store in NY.
