OOT Groomsmen...Tuxedos??

OOT Groomsmen...Tuxedos??

Do out of town groomsmen get sized out of state and call their measurements in to the store you're ordering from?

Just wondering ;)

our Best Man is living in Seward Alaska...he is traveling 3 hours to Anchorage to get measured then he will forward that information to us and we will order it on LI for him.

Your OOT groomsmen should be able to go to any tuxedo shop to get measured. Then they'll call it into the place where you're getting them. My bro is upstate and my dad is in VA, so they'll both have to be done this way. Then, once they're in town any last minutes alterations can be done right up til the day of.

We have to do the same...just wondering...these other places they go to get measured...do they tend to give an attitude since you're not getting the tux from them? Just wondering because I think this is what we have to do....eek...

all of ours are OOT too. The place we're renting from gave us cards with the needed measurements, so I mailed them to all the GM and they took the card to a tailor to be measured and sent me the card back. Once I had all the cards back I went to the tux place and placed the order. It was really easy.

This is what we did. My BIL lives in Missouri and he got measured at his local tux shop and then called me with the measurements and I gave it to our guy who was doing the tuxes.

My place gave us these envelopes that have blanks for all the needed info....all our groomsmen have to do is go to a tux rental place, get measured and mail them in!
