OOT Guest RD Question

So one of my out of town guests staying at the hotel for my wedding happens to be my boss. He and his wife live in South Jersey and he commutes up here and lives on Long Island 4 days a week and works from home the rest of the time. I requested a list of rooms booked under our name for my records and I noticed that he and his wife booked a room. He did not tell me he was staying there, I just know from the list.

So..do I invite him and his wife to the rehearsal lunch? We are not having a formal rehearsal, just a meet-n-greet type lunch. Chances are they cant come anyway cause I have a feeling they will be driving up from Jersey on Saturday and my rehearsal happens to be a lunchtime thing. But do I invite him just to be nice? We have a fairly good relationship and I was planning to invite most of the other out of town guests. For some reason I feel it would be weird for me to invite him though.
