Oot guests

Ladies, since you all are pros at wedding planning, please help me with a photo or directions on how I should inform oot guests about hotels being blocked off for them. A newsletter? How did you do it? I was trying to stay away from save the date magnets only b/c I need to provide a lot of info about accomadations. I just booked my venue yesterday and the wedding is just 6 months away so I I really need to get the word out.

Please help.

xoxo,
krystal

Vistaprint has cute 'free' business cards. One of the templates was a wedding cake. Very girly and cute. I sent out the 'save the dates' with the business card with all the hotel information.
Just call the hotel, set up a block of rooms (you don't have to pay anything) and then start getting the word out.
HTH!

East Wind gave us cards and we wrote in the name of the block and price.

The hotel and the reception hall gave us direction cards. Congrats on booking your place! Where is it?

When i sent out STD's I had sent out a hotel card of where I had blocked and a few other hotels in the area for them to choose from.

Now I am at the invitation stage I made a hotel card just for the hotel I had blocked off with directions to the catering hall and the info that the hotel has a free shuttle as long as we get ten rooms booked to and from the hotel to the catering hall. Samples are in my album.

That's exactly what I did. Vista print offers free business cards. All you have to do is pay for the shipping (which was a few dollars). We wanted to provide our guests with info for two hotels. So we ordered two different cards (both with wedding day backgrounds -one had a background of a cake and the other one flowers). Just clear the template info (name/address/phone number sections) and then type in all of the hotel info on each card. We blocked rooms and put the info for that on each card as well. It ended up working out really well!

That's too funny! We're getting married at the EW-Estate too and they never gave us any cards. Did you have to ask for them? It worked out well anyways bc we didnt block rooms at the E.W. We didn't feel comfortable with their blocking policy (having to put 50% down for each room ahead of time). So we just printed out cards with the EW info and hotel pricing. And then we blocked rooms at another hotel and put all their contact info w/ blocked room info and pricing. * But I wish EW had shared with us that they had cards. lol
