OOT Info

OOT Info

So I made this cute time line and thank you for our OOT gable boxes but I can't quite figure out what's the best way to present it. I'm literally at the point where I am going to print it on regular paper and put then in envelopes inside the boxes because I can't come up with anything cute. I only have 8 days anyone have any suggestions?

I am going to make a nice border and just print them and just stick them in the box. I am going to put nice ribbon around the boxes (I found fall-themed ribbon at Michael's).

Welcome and thanks for coming! We’re so happy that you could make it to our wedding.

We’ve put together this box of treats for you to enjoy while spending time in your hotel room or driving about town.

A few important things to remember:

We would like you to join us for dinner tonight (Thursday) at Steve’s Piccola Bussola Restaurant, 41 Jackson Avenue, Syosset. We will meet in the lobby of the hotel at 5:00 pm so that we can all go together.

The ceremony begins at 7:30 pm on Friday. All you have to do is walk out of the hotel and make a right turn to proceed to the Fox Hollow where you will be directed to the ceremony. Right after the ceremony, you will be directed to the cocktail hour which will begin immediately following the ceremony.

Finally, we’d love to say goodbye to you on Saturday morning at breakfast. Located downstairs in the Inn at Fox Hollow, a complimentary breakfast will be held from 8:00 am until 10:00 am.

Whatever you choose to do while you’re here, we hope you have a great time, and we can’t wait to see you on Friday! Thank you all once again for sharing our special day with us.

Welcome & Thank you
for traveling so far,
Be it by airplane, train of just by car.
We hope that you have a good time
while you’re here,
Sharing in our wedding happiness
& cheer!

We made a little bag,
Completely full of treats,
Whether your mouth gets dry & thirsty,
Or you’re in the mood for some sweets.
It’s just a small token
Full of our Love, Hugs & Kisses,
To Thank You for the trip you’ve made
To see the new Mr.& Mrs.!

I made mine myself in MS Publisher. Took me a long time but i think it looks good. I will just get some nice paper to copy it on at staples.

Re: OOT Info

get scrapbooking paper from michaels or something and u can use your colors. if your colors are green and orange, put the green on top of the orange so there is an orange border, and print the timeline on paper (smaller than the green), and then put that on top of the green. scrapbooking paper is good for stuff like this. It makes it almost like cardboard, but pretty looking. You can also buy those cheap scissors that cut that paper in like zig zags... they have them at michaels too... i hope that made sense...

haha it actually did and it's definitely a good idea although i'm going to have approximately 60 OOT bags and I didn't really want to have to spend a lot of money. I'm going to look into it though. Thanks

oh wow 60! yeah def check into it, even check wal mart for the paper. not sure if they have it, but if they do it should be cheaper. also, if they sell the paper in a package with different colors then don't worry about using your colors just make them pretty ya know. then maybe you can get away with one package of paper...
