OOT Stuff question

OOT Stuff question

I don't think i want to do OOT bags at the hotel (I don't want to spend the extra money) ... is it weird if i just write an OOT packets or something?

I was thinking of including:
-- a welcome note
-- map to the local area (with things to do)
-- wedding day timeline (not sure about this since the only important time is 'get to ceremony site / RH at 10:30am' lol)
-- important phone numbers (in case someone gets lost, or has an emergency)

is this a cute idea or not?

I think people would find it helpful! Maybe include cab co #'s, and places to eat nearby. You could prob include a bottle of water and a little bag of pretzels or chips in a paper gift bag and it wouldn't be that much more.

good idea i get annoyed when i arrive to an out of town wedding and there's no OOT bag only bc i rely on the information that is generally provided - i don't need the chips and stuff. people will appreciate a little FYI packet.

Yeah, that's a good idea. You could definitely just put it in a cute folder or something for your guests.

I skipped the OOT bags but I did write a welcome note with a timeline for the wedding day. I included some stuff to do on LI. My guests loved it. I had the hotel hand it out to my guests when they checked in.
