For those of you making oot welcome bags for the hotels what are you putting everything in? I was thinking a basket, but it will add up very quickly. So I found gift bags to personalize online......but they are $2.50 each.....what is everyone using and how much are you spending?? Are you making one for each room? Your opinions are greatly appreciated!! TIA

Re: OOT welcome bags
I ended up making baskets for everyone...which I now regret. I got a pretty good deal at Michael's because they were 1/2 off. I got them for about $3 each. Then I decided to spray paint them white and add glitter and stuff...which took FOREVER and added up after awhile! I have NO idea what I'm putting in them! Probably water, snacks, mints, gum, and def an invitation to brunch the next morning! Sorry I wasn't much of a help!

Re: OOT welcome bags
I used white bags that I bought at Party City, I think they were $.89 each. I then made my own little tags for them which I attached with ribbon that were my colors. In them I put 2 bottles of water and various snack sized chips, crackers, cookies, etc... along with Hershey Kisses. I did make one for each room. I bought everything in bulk at BJs. I have no clue how much i spent.

Re: OOT welcome bags
We did 1 bag per room. We went as cheap as possible because all of our guests were from OOT. We got gift bags, in our wedding colors, from Michaels when they went on sale at 3 for $1. The hotels told us not to put names on the bags because it takes too much time for them to search by name, instead of just grabbing a bag. However, we did have a few guests come in for the entire week to help out, so they got special baskets waiting in their room when they arrived.
What did we put in it? Directions with a homemade map. We also put in start times for ceremony and reception (you'd be surprised how many people DON'T bring their invitations and forget what time everything starts). On those sheets, we also said a little thank you for spending our special day with us, blah, blah, etc. We also added: water bottles nutrigrain bars pretzels and chips candy cookies can't remember the rest, but we had a field day at BJs!
