OOTG and Hotels

So my dad calls me up the other day to tell me that a few of his sisters were harrassing him about what hotel they should stay in. Mind you, its 8 months before the wedding! So I called a few places, and finally decided to block off some rooms at the Marriot in Uniondale.

Now, I was thinking of buying some nice paper and writting something about the hotel, price, and how to book it, and sending it to the OOTG. What do you guys think about this? Do you think its too soon? Should I just skip the whole thing and put something in the envelope when I send out my invitations?

I just included it on our website and gave the website address on the STDs. We got inserts from the hotel but I don't really like them and FH has some weird thing about us printing the info on nice paper and including it with invites. He doesn't like that we'd include the price per night of the hotel. Don't ask

we block rooms with the marriott. they gave us a card that we'll be sending with the invites
