When you go to an open house, are the home owners there?

sometimes they are....Majority of the open houses we went to, the homeowners were not around...

Its wierd when they are there....I would rather them not be there....Then you cannot say anything about the house, and if you do the home owner is sitting there watching you and hanging on to every word you say...

Most we went to the owners weren't there unless we arrived promtly when the open house started.
We went to a house we really liked and probably would have made an offer on it until we heard the owner telling the realtor about how a blackbird just came and killed the baby birds in 2 nests in the yard. I just set such a morbid tone we couldn't look at the house in a good way so they blew it.
