For me, in November in NY or a similar climate, I think an open shoe. Bottom line though is you should wear what best suits your dress and makes you happy.

i really wanted open toe but EVERYONE is telling me i should go closed

I think they know me well and its because I am cold all the time....you will seriously see me in a sweatshirt in July so I think I should be reasonable and do the closed toe

I think when you have on a wedding dress no one really ever gets to see your feet, except for when you walk. Just your toes stick out. I'm going with closed toes personally. I think it's more elegant. What does the gown look like?

I would go with what's more comfortable, but I think open toe would be fine...

The dress is strapless, A-line, chapel back, diamond white with lace-like designs on it. No studs, or gold trim, or pearls.

i'm thinking closed... november weather is really hard to predict, and i'd rather be wearing closed-toe on a warmer day than open toe when it's frigid!!! jmo...

Depending on how late in the fall I think you can get away with either one

Well it's November now and its SOOOO cold.. I would opt for the closed toe.. but do whatever you feel more comfortable with. To me, no one is really going to see my feet so if I can get away with wearing sneaks, I'm gonna! lol
