Re: Open toed shoes?
IMO -- I went closed toe because I only like open toe without stockings --> and since I'm wearing stockings...

I bought open toes..my wedding is also October. I love open toe shoes for dresses occasion and I don't mind open toes with stockings (I use sandal foot stockings).

Re: Open toed shoes?
some people say that your toes get caught in all the material under the dress. Anyone hear that?

Re: Open toed shoes?
I'm wearing a high-heeled platform sandal, so I guess that would be classified as open toe.No stockings for me. I want to wear as little as possible in July.

Re: Open toed shoes? In October?
You can now by stockings that are made for open toe shoes...they are called hose without toes...and are really great. It is the perfect solution for those that want to use open toe shoes but also want the support from stockings!

Re: Open toed shoes?
OK so has anyone found a low heeled open toe or non-open toe bridal shoe that is cute--I am talking no more than an inch! I am having the worst time finding them (I have this problem in everyday life looking for sandals so I shouldn't be surprised). I found those cute Fenaroli's but should I spend $180 on shoes???!!! I am 5'8 already and not sure I can justify spending that much money on shoes that no one really sees.....HELP!

My bridal party and I are all wearing open toe shoes, but we will not wear pantyhose with them, that's a fashion no no.
