is there a 'rule' for this? Can you wear white panty hose with open toed sandals? Do you think it would look funnY?

I have to agree it is tacky but i never heard of these toeless pantyhose?! Where do you get them? Noone would know and I would be able to have that support, I am gonna look into it for me.

i was debating acutally buying new shoes because the ones I have are open toes but I cant see how i will be able to wear my corset with the thigh high snaps and I really want to wear that underneath.

This is a bigger conflict than I thought!

I wore the toeless once and then I took them right off b/c it felt too weird and I felt like everyone knew my secret They sell them at lingerie/hosiery stores.

My personal preference is either to wear a nude shade with the open toe shoes or get the toeless pantyhose. They are actually very comfortable.

I am going to go against the crowd here. I totally use to think it was a fashion no no...would never do it..but within the last couple of years I have changed my mind. When you are going to a formal occasion and your legs are exposed and it is not the summer, I think no hose looks worse. I wear sandal foot pantyhose (must be very sheer - nude mostly) with dressy strappy sandals and I have no problem with it and no problem with others who do the same. Even did it for my wedding. I wish I could find it but I read somewhere that it is no longer considered a fashion no-no...I should find that article....

I just think it is a matter of personal preference.

Tara.. they look like those leggings they put on patients for circulation! lol

I am totally against the whole panty hose/strappy shoes thing..

I even try my hardest to avoid wearing open toed shoes in the winter.. but if I'm wearing something that looks best with open toed shoes.. just use a little nivea lotion and bronzer.. it works wonders..

or even better if you're tan.. baby oil!

The problem with the toeless stockings is that the toes are a different color than the leg so you can tell there's something weird going on Look at the pic that lisa posted - that woman's toes are many shades off her legs.
