Re: open toes shoes in winter?!
I have thought about this. I think I am going to wear peep toes at my wedding just so I am not wearing sandals and so my feet are a little covered. But I am going to a wedding on Sun, it is going to be freezing and all i have to wear are sandals ...

you'll be indoors mostly, right? if so, maybe it won't be too much of a problem. But i don't know if i'd wear strappy sandals - peep toes sound like a good route :)
winter weddings can be so beautiful! my cousin was married in Feb and it snowed, soooo nice!
ETA: I didn't notice buty your wedding is not in winter! LOL! either way....don't forget a pedi even though it's winter if you end up showing toes :)

Re: open toes shoes in winter?!
i had open toe shoes! i did end up wearing thigh highs but they were really sheer. honestly, i bought a fur wrap because i thought i'd be cold...and all i was was HOT.lol.it's no joke how much heat radiates out of that gown! lol. honestly ur toes shouldn't be too bad...especially if u're not taking photos outside(are u??). honestly - my shoes were just more comfortable with the stockings...and NOBODY will notice ur wearing them but you. i got the ones from macy's that had the silicone around the top. they were really sheer & didn't budge. ANYWAYS, here were mine...
I wore peep toes with no stockings...the dress was so hot that the shoes kept me cool. plus ur not outside for very long

i don't think so it's weird. if you're really worried about the cold, you can always get those toeless stockings.

Last year on new years I wore open toed shoes and was fine. It's not as though you are going to be hanging around outside very long. I say wear them!!

i always wear open toe if it is a formal affair, and you can always get the stocking ones that are toeless ( but I think they look a little funny)
