opening up a credit card...

which credit cards are good? I need to put some 'wedding things' on my credit card and would love to find one with perks... ie: free flights, cruises, money back..etc

I have Discover money back and i love it. American express also wit the rewards i got a couple of gift cards from my rewards points (red lobster, bath and body works).

It depens on what your looking for.

I pay for just about everything with my American Express. I was actually able to get free concert tickets once using the points I racked up.

i'm THINKING about opening up a capital one checking with rewards and can move the cash back and rewards back and forth from cc to checking.

just make sure you time it right. Every time you open up a new credit card, your credit rating goes down temporarily. So make sure you're not applying for a loan or something where a credit report would be critical.
