opinion needed - am i lame?
ok - i have an old friend from college who i have not seen in a long time. i speak to her often - but i didnt even invite her to my wedding - we are not BFF - but i do like her and we get along great.
with that said - i havent seen her in a long time because she lives out in LI and i am a total queens dweller and we are never able to get our things straight. anyway - she will be @ a bar tonight in queens and wants me to meet her. i want to go and would like to see her. BUT with that said - i am finally moving back into my apt tonight after a week of construction going on. the entire apt is covered in a coat of white dust and the workers stepped in mud and dragged it all along my light gray carpet. so i really need to do a great clean up job.
should i bail on meeting my old friend? or take this opportunity to see her?
i cant help but feel guilty @ the thought of leaving my house a wreck.
also - i told her i would meet her @ 9 - and honestly by the time i get back home i wont be able to clean a little and than go out.
what would you do? am i being lame??
