Is $6,900 way too much for a full photography package (100 album pics, Engagement shoot, parent albums etc.,) and full videography with photomontages etc.?? (whole day 11am-9pm)
Your opinion is appreciated thanks!

Re: opinion needed for photography/videography
It seems like ALOT to me. I'm paying about 4600 for photo/video. I get 2 photographers, engagement session, album, parent albulm, all proofs on a disc, edited pics, 2 parent albums, videographer, 3 DVDs, the uncut DVD, pic enlargements, and a sign in board @ the reception.
Are you getting anything else with your's?

It does seem like a lot. I am paying $3700 altogether. I'm getiing two photographers, about 700-800 pics on a cd, engagement pics, and one album, a videographer with all the extras(editing, effects, photo montages) and 3 dvds plus the raw footage.

it does seem like its on the high end but ive heard of many girls spending this so to me, its not totally out of the ballpark. im paying 2800 for photography but not getting parent albums and im paying on the high end for video, a little over 2K

It depends on where you are going. I know girls who have spent that much on their photography package alone. If it's in your budget and you really like the photographers' work, then you should go with it. If you are still unsure then you should shop around some more. I suggest looking into Duet!

The package included: album- 100 pics 2 parent albums with 24 images each 16X20 portrait 2 8X10 portraits all proofs thank cards w pic mini digital album all high res dvd engagement shoot 11x14, 2 8X10
It definitely ranges place to place. However, it does seem a lil high. however, your pkg may be richer than some others...more DVDs, albums, etc. 100 pic album...over how many pages.. full mount/Renaissance album or coffee table albums... It all dictates prices. Since the Renaissance albums are a grand easy. you also have them for 10 hours... so they prob factored in over time/travel fees. Some places do that since the avg time for photo/video people is 8 hrs.

wow, that's a great deal for all those things. I'm paying $5500 for: engagement pics (premium prints included) 2 photographers (all day coveraged), 1 videographer (coverage from the time I get to the ceremony) 3 dvd's (with lift time montage, guest interviews, and honeymoon montage) thank you cards 22 premium prints 1 album of 450 proof prints 1 flush mount album 2 parent albums.

I think so i would get price from another photo as well, you are getting married in the middle of winter there prices usually drop then im getting a cheaper rate at think at least $2000 off she said because of the time of year, but if you are using a photo/viedo that would usually be $9,000 in high wedding season then you are getting a good deal !!

I'm paying way more however I have 2 photographers from 12pm-12am (or whenever the ventian hour begins) Unless you are having a day wedding... I think that's an average price.

I don't think it's TOO much if your using an amazing photographer. It really depends on who is shooting. For example Angelica Glass is AMAZING but DEF out of my price range. But for her that price is awesome.
