opinion needed...NWR: spinoff to 'ughh snow'...

I posted before that FH and I are supposed to go to Massachusetts tomorrow morning for the night to visit his grandparents. admittedly, part of me doesnt want to go bc it is a boring trip however i know we need to see them.
Anyway, the weather advisory for that part of Massachusetts isnt very good (see below)...i think we need to reschedule but FH wants to still go. Problem is we need to decide by 3pm today.
am i being a selfish b* for wanting to reschedule or is that the logical thing to do??

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST SATURDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW... WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST SATURDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
* ACCUMULATIONS: 4 TO 8 INCHES.
* TIMING: SNOW OF VARYING INTENSITY TODAY AND TONIGHT GRADUALLY DIMINISHING DURING THE DAY ON SATURDAY.
* IMPACTS: POOR VISIBILITIES AND SNOW COVERED ROADS CREATING HAZARDOUS TRAVEL.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW... SLEET... OR FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES... AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

That warning does not sound good....when would you be able to reschedule for? Could you just go next weekend? Keep watching the reports and see what happens by 3, but if that is what theyre saying you probably shouldnt risk it

Where are you going in Massachusetts? We are going to Boston by bus tomorrow but I don't think there will be that much accumulation (like last time) to drive.

Are you leaving at 3pm today? Can you postpone it until tomorrow morning and just go up for the day?

we are heading to Dalton Ma (which is near the Berkshires). We arent leaving until tomorrow morning around 10am, which is why seeing the warning through 6pm tomorrow night worries me. We need to let his grandparents know today though if we are coming (i have no idea why they cant play it by ear but thats another issue).

Unfortunately the next available weekend to reschedule is March

I am so torn. I think another reason i am so hesitant to go is bc i found out yesterday that a a lady i work with lost her 21 yr old son in a car accident last week and almost 12 years ago to date i lost my uncle & cousin in a car accident...so it has me scared to drive. i mean i drive to work daily but a long trip in bad conditions worries me a lot more than it may worry others.
