Ok - I posted this on Slim Down but - people don't check that a lot. I'm thinking of joining Curves gym. I went to check it out today and it looked better than I thought - a little corny - but hey - if it works, it works!! The price is really reasonable too! I am going for a trial workout on Monday and then I will decide. But I would like your opinions!! Those of you who go - likes? dislikes? success rate? THanks ladies!!

I personally don't go but I have a friend that does and the results have been incredible! She has been watching what she eats and has been going to Curves and it looks like it's working great! I say give it a try..

It's a franchise - just for women - thirty minute workout of cardio and machines - the machines are hydraulic weight machines (supposedly) especially designed for women. There were like little old ladies working out there - it was cute! :)

i joined and i like it. however, i had surgery in september, so i have not been back. i plan on starting again on friday. which curves are you going to?

I have heard good things about it & a co-worker just joined last month & there is a noticable difference not just in her shape, but her attitude as well!

My friend goes to a regular gym and her mom goes to Curves. She went with her mom to Curves one night and she said while you're doing the workout, it's tough but not that bad. The next day, she said her muscles were aching! Her mom loves it and definitely sees a difference. She says it's easy to stay motivated too.

I was thinking of going there as well! They are opening one in Lindenhurst too (not sure when)
But a co worker told me its great but that its basically the same workout so it can get boring after some time!
However I have never tried it so I cant say for sure!
