Opinions?

My BMs have voted to wear periwinkle and we are all happy with that, except now i need some help with flower/color coordination! I would like them to carry bouquets in one solid color and I love bright bold colors! Would a deep pink/fuschia -with green fresh cuts stems- look crazy with that color? I have gotten mixed opinions. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Re: Opinions?

Your best bet is to go to the florist w/ a swatch of the BM dress. (Try to get a decent size swatch) Then you & your florist can figure out what color/colors will go best. Good Luck!

Re: Opinions?

on this site a while back someone posted pics from their wedding ---her bm wore peri and they had pink flowers and it looked beautiful--i want peri too and will use pink, white and a touch of peri flowers ( i hope--well that is what i am aiming for!)....i have seen peri w/yellow and always thought i would use that until i saw the post on here w/the pink flowers-and to me the pink totally blows away the yellow!

Re: Opinions?

Another color to consider would be dark red.
Very bold and looks awesome against periwinkle.
Then if you wanted, you could carry a red bouquet with purple accents to pick up the periwinkle that your girls aould be wearing.

Periwinkle is actually very versatile.
Bright blue would look pretty and I think that fuschia would be amazing as well.

Re: Opinions?

My bm dresses are peri as well. I met with the florist yesterday. We are going with lavendar roses, white roses, lisanthus?(which is a darker purple looks like a rose) and few other purple, blue flowers. I wanted to do yellow to but didn't look as good.

Re: Opinions?

I used periwinkle bridesmaids dresses and hot pink roses. It was beautiful and the colors in the pics are incredible.

Re: Opinions?

KC, glad to help out. The pink flowers were a certain kind (can't remember the name) that were white-ish on the bottom then pink at the top. I was scared that the all pink would be too overpowering so I went with these instead.

They dried real well too! I have my sis's maid of honor bouquet on a shelf and it still looks beautiful!
