I bought a dress from david's bridal for my engagement part next week and now im thinking to looks too bridesmaidy........ what do you think? can I get away with it for my e-party or does it look too much like a bridesmaid dress?
It is a nice dress but to be honest I would have never gotten a long dress for your e-party unless it is going to be a real fancy affair

it is kinda fancy i guess.... 105 people in the banquet room of a restaurant.... we're having a cocktail hour, open bar, DJ, etc.... so i'm OK with it being long... but i dont want it to look like a BM dress

To be totallyyyyy honest with you, I think you will look so elegant and classy. If it were pink, I'd say ehhh not the right dress for that color, for an e party. But since it's navy blue, it's beautiful for the type of party you are having.

I like it... but maybe have it shortened.... I think that might make you feel better about it not looking too much like a bridesmaids dress.
