So I was planning on buying FH and nice digital slr camera for a wedding gift. But with Christmas so close I am not sure if I should wait and give it to him for Christmas.

What do you think.. the wedding or Christmas?

you could buy him the camera itself for the wedding gift ... and some camera accessories for xmas (like the camera case, a uv filter, etc)
