Opinions need please and thank you!

So we sent out our STDs on Monday. Finalized hotel block info today, so obviously it isnt on the STDs. I updated the website but I'm worried many people won't check it, and the hotel rooms start getting released 6 weeks before the wedding, so I'm worried we will be cutting it close with sending hotel info with the invite.

Would it make sense to follow the format of the STDs (postcard) and make up and send out a small hotel info card just to OOT people? Just to be safe? Thoughts?

Hmm I wouldn't send something additional out. I'd just make sure to spread the word.

since most of the OOT people are friends of mine or FH's parents I should ask then to spread the word right?

i don't think you need to send another postcard out. maybe just send a mass email to the OOT guests to let them the hotel has been blocked.

problem is the OOT people are mostly older and I don't know how many use email, and if they do I doubt they use it to communicate with mine or FH's parents so we may not even be able to get their email addresses!

in that case, i think you'll be fine with sending out the info with the invites. 6 weeks is plenty of time for people to make arrangements and book a hotel! don't stress! people will find a way.

Maybe send the email to the one's you have and call those out of towners w/o email addresses in a week or two...'Hi, it's me. I'm sure you've received the stds and just wanted to let you know that if needed, rooms are being held at so-and-so until such-and-such.'

we're in the same boat. STDs didn't include hotel info, but they included a reference to our website which has hotel info. We're doing it by word of mouth.
