I started thinking about chair covers recently and wanted to get your opinions. The NRC has very nice chairs that dont necessarily need chair covers, but I saw an add in one of the bridal magazines with these type of chairs with a sheer chair cover and was wondering if I should get them. I haven't found a place yet that has these nor have I priced them out yet, but was just wondering what your thoughts were.
1st pic is the NRC set up with the chairs without the covers.
2nd pic is the advertisement I saw with the chair covers I was interested in.
What would you do?

ETA: I feel like the covers make the room look more elegant. I would get them in the gold sheer of course to match the chair itself.

My mother and I just had this discussion the other day, and her opinion was that chairs should not be wearing dresses... so I say if the hall i chooses manages to throw them in I will get them, but if not I wont

I am trying to decide on chair covers also. But, the chairs on lombardi's on the sound are not as nice as those. If I had those chairs, I wouldn't bother spending the extra money for the chair cover.

I've been to a wedding there..
and I didnt think the chiars needed covers.. they were very nice compared to some of the chairs I've seen at some RH (they should be ashamed!!!)

both ways are pretty...personally i like it with the covers better but if its a big expense i wouldnt go for it

Their chairs are pretty nice. It looks very nice with the covers too but I would say it's not necessary.
If you were getting married at Jericho Terrace, I would say you NEED chair covers!!

i dont know why i dont like the plain bamboo chairs, i like the covers and i like the RH chairs that have the padded backs - JMO

I agree, pretty but not necessary. The chairs are pretty and the room is elegant enough without them. If you really love them and you have extra $$ left over in your budget then I would, but the chair look great without it.
The chair covers are beautiful but not a necessity in your case. I am opting to get them simply bc I hate the color gold and that's what they have at BVYC. Plus my colors are pink and white with silver thrown in so it would clash. However, bc of the $$ situation I am waiting until the last moment to get them. For me, they are something I would love but is def a luxury item.

the chairs are pretty! no need to cover it up. the sashes looks nice with it. How are the seats? if they are worn then cover it up.

I love those chairs, but you really dont need to cover them. I would figure out the cost to cover them and then see if its in your budget. You could always use that money for something else though, like tips, flowers, etc.

I love the covers, but I don't think they would fit in the budget. Search around to see what kinds of deals you can get.

No chair covers...those are too pretty to cover. My hall has the same chairs and I'm definitely not covering them up.

if the NRC doesnt have chairs that are ripped or stained, save ur $$, the covers are nice, but i would spend that money on something else

I normally HATE chair covers.. but I actually like the sheer ones in the advertisement... very pretty. Not necessary though... do what you want. They look pretty both ways.

I actually love those type of chairs. I don't think you need to dress the chairs up to glam it up!! BUT, if it's something that you REALLY, REALLY want...go for it!!!

chiavari chairs are like the 'it' chairs in the wedding industry, so it's not really necessary to add a cover to them. BUT if you have the money to blow, i'd get a really pretty sash that matches your color theme.
