Opinions... Not quite sure what to do about limo (long)
Ok I'm in a pickle and not sure what to do. Bear with me, this is long.
Ceremony is at RH, we're doing pics beforehand, and I hadn't planned on having a limo at all. Girls are also getting ready at RH, so my mom will probably drive all or most of us there..... All the guys will be at the hotel, which is about 20 minutes away, and his dad can just drive them all over. Majority of people will be staying at the hotel that night, and don't want to drive back from the RH, which is why we're all getting rides there.
Ok, so now comes the picture issue.....RH is right on the harbor, and we can walk right across the street to take some pictures on benches, leaning over the rail, and a little walk down you can walk onto the sand and rocks. So, this is all good, as well as the RH grounds, but neither is very big or spacious. There is a REALLY cute park just up the road, it's small and looks over the sound from up high, gorgeous view! So I really want to take pictures up there....it's only a 5 minute drive.
Now.....we'll all squeeze into cars to get to RH, but there's no way we're going to be able to make it to that park with just the couple cars that are there, plus the photographers! And, not to mention my dress!
Ok, now here's where the limo came into question. It would make complete sense to get a 20 pass limo, have it pick up the guys at the hotel, come to RH to meet all of us, then everybody head up to take pictures at the park, then when we get back take a couple across the street on the water.....right?
We are also getting a shuttle for a guests to come to and from the hotel....... So, my first thought was that maybe it'd be cheaper to extend the time on that and just use the shuttle to get to the pics, but no it's not. It'd actually be cheaper to do the shuttle separately and get a hummer or escalade.....BUT, whatever way I look at it, transportation to this park that's only 5 minutes away will cost about $900 (because there's a couple stops involved, not just pick up and drop off).
My mom suggested not doing a limo at all, taking all the pics with the BP at the RH and within walking distance....Then just the 2 of us go up to the park for pics, and somebody would drive us........But I don't know, pictures with the BP would look so pretty up there!
