I am trying to get peoples opinions on The Sands at Lido Beach and Smithtown Landing? If you have ever been to an event or have experiences with either of them can you please let me know what you thought? Thanks!
I know you posted about this the other day but have you searched under The Bride's Review for both venues to see what past brides had to say? Maybe that will help you out.

Yeah I tried looking under reviews and there isn't any for the sands and there are a few for Smithtown Landing which got great reviews. But there wasn't that many.
Do a search on theknot.com about the sands at LIDO... I personally went to speak with someone there and he sold me the world and more (at least he tried) and I was just not having a good feeling about it...well good thing because the reviews on theknot.com say how he tried to sell the world and couldn't and didn't deliver...If you want to know some more details of the situation with me...FM me...My parents even went without me to check out the venue and they said who they were and he said 'I don't really like working with brides because they don't have realistic expectations.' Well we do and he was a huge liar...Check out theknot and FM if you want more info. Also, RICH at Smithtown Landing was so nice and does deliver..I saw that venue also!
