i so don't know what to do about my bo-k. i'm making all of them myself with silk flowers. am using rust, orange, & yellow mums and orange hydrangeas. i was going to put a single hydrangea stem at the top of each bo-k and surround with mums (pic below). however....
at michaels this morning i found 3 stems of taupe-y./brown color hydranges. SO i was thinking of doing my bo-k with the orange & taupe-y/brown hydrangeas and the girls' bo-k's with the rust, orange & yellow mums. then tying my bo-k and their bo-k's with same ribbon.
but i'm concerned that this will be too much of a difference b/t my bo-k and theirs. what do you girls think?
I wouldn't worry about your bo-k being different from BP bo-ks. After all many brides do all white bo-k for themself and colors for girls. I'm sure it will look beautiful!

my bo- k is completley different from my girls.......i dont think it matters go with what you like. I made mine also. My gilrs are balck magic roses mine is cream and blushing roses

I wouldn't worry about it. My bo-k is going to be very different from the BM's. They are going to have bo-k's in fall colors like yours. My bo-k is going to have ivory/cream colored roses and cafe roses.

That's exactly what I was going to say.
Double Ditto on that. My bok is going to be completely different - colorwise and typewise than my girls.
JMHO - I would wrap the stem bottoms with ribbon completely. Otherwise, the bok came out beautifully.

DEFINITELY the above is/was a work in progress. once i make up my mind about the flowers i'll have to start the whole decision making process for ribbon. ee-ghads!
