Has anyone lived there? DH might be getting a job transfer there..houses look so nice and affordable. tia
A friend of mine lived there for a while and I visited. It seems like a really nice place to live, clean cheaper and they are deveolping it a lot. I think it would be tough for me to adjust to life outside of NY, but I would consider it if one of us were looking at a job there.
My SIL lives there. They love it. I was lookinginto it before I bought my house here. I have a lot of info at home I can try to find for you. If you want I can ask my SIL to send me some more newspapers, etc. to look at houses for sale and jobs.

I use to go to Charlotte for business a lot and it is a great city. Very clean and the houses are extremely affordable. You will find a lot of New Yorkers there as well because there are two pretty big banks that are headquartered there (Wachovia and Bank of America). So there is a lot of banker money as well.

I used to live there and I loved it, had to move back for reasons out of my control,.its a very up and coming area, everyone there is from somewhere else, I dont think I met anyone that was born & raised there, I woul lvoe to move back there
