We are using Spin around sound. He is making sure my wedding will be low key. but im also sure maybe if you talk to the DJ u are going to hire, and tell them you want it low key, hopefully they will listen..... no sombreros huh?? lol

Kinda pathetic, jennbaby. Barago - I have heard High Energy is low key and I know that the Vanderbilt mansion endorses High Energy Music - sorry, I don't have more info...

There was no need to carry over what happened in that thread over here. She asked for advice/opinion, if you have none then just view the post and move on. That comment was really not necessary.
You can try Body Rock, I hear they are excellent, I saw one of their presentation and it was wonderful. If I had not booked my DJ already I would have booked them. A Dj will do as you say, if you want the extras they will, if you want low key they will too. You are paying.

I'm in the same boat as you...I want a low key DJ who basically just plays the music I want to hear. I've just received info. from Stan Wiest music and also Spin Around Sound. Both claim to be simple, elegant, and NOT cheesy. I haven't made any appts. with them as of yet but, after I meet with them I will let you know. Good Luck!
