Opinions on dress

Ok so I have been looking at other dresses and happened to be in Macy's today and came across this Oleg Cassni.. It was marked down to a great price.. and I was thinking damn this would be a nice dress.. for a wedding.. So I tried in on and took it home with me in the notion that I can always return it.. I feel like I am satisfied with my search now and have it down to two dresses..now this wedding is supposed to have an anitque old feel to it.. I hope I am still going in this direction.. Ok here are the two dresses.. - Watters and Watters in Champagne..

or Oleg Cassini in Ivory.. which would have to be altered on the top since I have no chest.. lol
I would appreicate any input you girls have :)

I like number 1. I think once you have it fitted to your body, it will be so gorgeous and elegant.

Wow that is a GREAT deal for that dress because its well known name too. Definetly go with that one. The first one just does nothing for you. Its just nice fabric that's it. No personality and I don't think its the most flattering shape for you. The other one just emphasizes best assets and will draw attention to your face because of the beading.

I personally don't love Watters and Watters quality wise. They have BEAUTIFUL stuff yes and I almost bought a Watters Dress before I really looked at the quality (My mom sews so Im picky about fabrics) and honestly, you pay for the name NOT the dress. They are good quality but you can get equally good quality from another designer for much less. My dress is actually a Watters 'knockoff' modeled after one of their lace dresses and its soooo much prettier and literally a third of the price.

So yes. Go second dress go! :)

I like them both a lot--but I think #2 is better. For one thing, I've heard that satin dresses, and that Watters looks like satin, wrinkle terribly. You don't want to be all wrinkly once you sit down on your wedding day! I could be wrong about that. Anyway, I do love the goddess-style gown, and it seems to be your style, going by your icon. You could wear a seriously killer sexy pair of shoes with that, too!

Tough decision- I like number 2 better, but whichever one you like the best is the one!

I like the straps/neckline on the first one, BUT overall, #2 stands out more. it's a GREAT choice!

I really loved a dress similar to your #2 by James Clifford (Hjelm) but my mother felt it wasn't 'wedding-y' enough I kinda agreed...but still, it was a gorgeous dress. The only problem I would have with #2 is that there isn't a train....

#1 is gorgeous too though, I think it has more of the 'old hollywood' feel you're going for....I would add a brooch maybe at the waist for just a touch of sparkle and maybe some beaded shoes....

I would choose #1.

FYI- This is the James Clifford I tried on....I think it was a bit over priced...considering your version is almost identical and prob costs hundreds less....

I have to change my vote.

I kept looking at it, and I think with the veil that #1 is actually more flatering on you. Of course, it would be fitted, etc.
