Opinions on hair and veils . . .

I hav always wanted to wear my veil very bridal- in front of my updo. Now that I have gone for my trial and love my hair, I feel guilty covering it up with the veil. Spending all that $$ for a gorgeous fo just to cover it up . . .What do you all think? I have always pictured myself with the vail in the front . . .

Do what you like, but remember you only get to wear the veil once (okay maybe not) in your life. DId you try hair trials doing both options? If not, try that and see which one you like best.

you can always wear the veil for the ceremony and take it off for the reception

I was going through the same thing and decided to have my veil put 'on a stick'. My veil will come out of the middle of my hair, on top of my head (not behind me).

This way some of my hair will be in front of my veil and some will be behind it. I will wear the veil as long as I can stand it that day, but will take it off at some point, I'm sure.

I was having this same problem deciding because I love the look of the veil in front, but my hairdresser was kind of anti because it posed problems for her with the updo. She suggested getting a veil on a stick, but I didn't know what it was. Where do you find this veil on a stick and how much does it cost?

Do you have any pics of an updo with a veil on a stick - I have never heard of this but it sounds interesting!

I agree, I think I am also going to have my veil on for the ceremony and then take it off for the reception. It can sometimes get in the way depending on how big/ long it is. But I definitely understand your dilemma

I am going to have my veil behind my updo b/c i dont want it to mess up my hair.
